Some of you may have noticed a drought of posts over the past year or so - my husband and I bought a house and unsurprisingly that took up a lot of time and brain power. But I'm thrilled to have more space to garden and share my progress as I recreate some of the garden plans my grandfather laid out in his journals! (And of course, explore more history of the Morton Arboretum) Stay tuned!
Coming up in Bulletin of Remarkable Trees:
More of E. Lowell Kammerer's Japan and Southeast Asia trip on behalf of the Morton Arboretum
Containers, lanterns, and sculpture brought back from Japan
E. Lowell Kammerer's correspondence with and ties to Ball Seed
Planning and planting grandpa Kammerer's Peony border in my own yard
If you’d like to receive deep dives into my grandfather’s work at the Morton Arboretum in your inbox, along with more short musings on nature and life, consider subscribing!
If you have topics you’re interested to hear more about or feedback for me, please feel free to let me know in the comments.
If you like what you’ve read so far, sharing Bulletin of Remarkable Trees with your friends would help a whole lot!
Congrats on the new house! I'm looking forward to garden updates!
